Investment Allocation

Eastern Illinois University places a substantial amount of its operating funds in the state treasurer's investment pool. The university invests in short-term instruments such as treasury bills and commercial paper. In addition, the university invests up to $20 million in treasury and agency securities with a final maturity of no more than four years.

Investment Advisor

Operating funds are managed internally by the vice president for business affairs, director of accounting and finance, assistant comptroller, and the cash and investment manager.
