Making Excellence Inclusive Conference 2017 - Together We Rise
EIU staff, faculty and graduate students are invited to this inaugural conference which will feature sessions about how we can work with our students to achieve excellence in academics and co-curricular activities.
7:45 - 8:20 - Registration outside the Grand Ballroom of the MLK Union
8:20 - 8:30 - Opening and Welcome: Grand Ballroom
8:30 - 9:20 - Keynote: Cultural Wealth as Smartness - Dr. Beth Hatt: Grand Ballroom
9:30 - 12:20 - Breakout sessions (in various rooms in Union), full schedule available on http://www.eiu.edu/mei/conference.php
12:30 - Lunch in Thomas Dining (lunch included with conference registration)
You do not need to sign up for specific breakout sessions now, and can choose which to attend on the day of the conference.
