University Court
This 11 building, three-story apartment complex offers one and two bedroom furnished apartments for 1-4 students with kitchen/dining area, family room, one or two bedrooms and one or one and a half bathrooms. An outdoor swimming pool is located on site. Each building contains laundry facilities and on-site staff is on call for emergencies 24-hours a day. Residents are responsible for notifying the electric company to disconnect electricity prior to check-out. Utilities must be maintained in the resident's name throughout the term of the contract.
All apartments contain a desk and chair, couch, lounge chair, two end tables, two lamps, night stand (one per bedroom), dresser (one per roommate), mattress and metal bed frame (one per roommate), electric stove with oven, refrigerator, sink, dining table, four straight chairs and ample closet and storage space. Apartments with walk-in closets, balconies, pantries and/or an additional half bathroom are offered when availability permits (room layouts). Units offer more personal privacy, cooking facilities and 1 or 1 1/2 baths. You have all the conveniences of off campus and all the amenities of living on campus which include free internet connection, free extended basic cable service, trash removal, up to $35 allowance per month for water service, free basic phone service, and personal identification numbers for long distance phone billing. All apartments are smoke-free in accordance with the Smoke Free Illinois Law
The pool is available for use by University Court residents between Memorial Day and Labor Day. University Court buildings are securely locked at all
times. A parking permit is required for parking. Meal plans
are available through the Panther Dining Services Office to suit your
needs. The University Court Office is open Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 4:30pm, it does close for lunch noon until 1pm. For after hours emergencies a staff member can be reached at (217) 549-9065.
