Purpose

Mixed Identity Student Organization, formerly Multicultural Organization, is a group dedicated to multiracial and anti-racist education. We believe in providing a space for mixed peoples to share their perspectives and value the process of unlearning internalized racism and generational trauma. Our goal is to advance racial justice values and strengthen resistance to institutional and structural racism in search of a future rooted in empathy, liberation, and self-determination.
