Ryan
Hendrickson, L. M. Hamand Dean of the Graduate School, is accepting nominations
for the position of one alternate non-scientist member to serve on the EIU
Institutional Review Board. The IRB is responsible for assuring the protection
of the rights and welfare of human subjects participating in research. The
position will be appointed to serve a 3-year term beginning in the fall
semester. Faculty and staff wishing to be considered for membership should
e-mail a statement of interest to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs
