STAFF SENATE ELECTION -- NOMINATION PETITIONS NEEDED

The annual Staff Senate election will be held April 26, 2023.

Any employee interested in running for a position as staff senator may fill out the Nomination Petition on the Staff Senate website.  The deadline to submit a petition is April 5, 2023 at 3 p.m.  Employee categories eligible for election this Spring:

•         1 position from the Administrative & Professional employee group
•         1 position from the Contract Appointed or Grant Funded employee group
•         1 position from the AFSCME Union 981 employee group

Eligible candidates must be employed at EIU for one (1) year and must not be a member of President’s Council, Council of Deans, or be represented by Faculty Senate.
