The purpose of the Staff Senate is to facilitate communication, solicit and express opinions, give suggestions and recommendations on all matters of concern to the Staff of EIU.

Our meetings are always open and everyone is welcome to attend. If anyone has any questions or issues, please contact one of the Senators.
The Staff Senate election will take place Wednesday, April 23, 2025 via electronic ballot. Voting will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Please check your EIU email on election day for the ballot link. Only the Non-Negotiated Civil Service employee group will be able to access the ballot and vote.

Staff Senate proudly welcomes you to participate on the EIU Shout Out page! "Shout Outs" are public recognition of thanks and appreciation of other employees' work on a day-to-day basis.
