Each Spring, Communication Day is held, a special event designed to illustrate the importance of communication in our academic, personal, and professional lives.
During Communication Day, the speakers and panels showcase the intellectual work engaged in by undergraduate and graduate students across an array of majors. Students present papers and creative projects that focus on critiques of popular culture as well as political discourse.
Additionally, students present projects that connect various communication theories to different discursive environments. Communication Day often includes panel discussions about internships, job networking, departmental honors and graduate studies in communication.
