Honors College
Physics offers Honor courses for those in the Sandra and Jack Pine Honors College. These courses, while similar to the regular courses, come with extra challenges. Our class sizes still remain small so the professors know the students. This is one of the great attributes of EIU.
Our Engineering Cooperative major in the Honors College, David Whatcott, said, "I love being at EIU because the staff seems to really care about students, it's affordable, and the compact campus makes it easy to get from place to place. I enjoy being involved with the Pine Honors College because it recognizes students who push themselves, and it encourages exploration in subjects outside your major."
