Doudna Fine Arts Center Events February 17 through February 22

EIU's Music Department has a week full of exciting concerts. You can get your tickets for these concerts online at eiu.edu/doudnatix and use the code GROUP on orders of 4+ tickets for $5 off per ticket, over the phone at (217) 581-3110, or in person at the Doudna Box Office during Box Office hours: Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Box Office is closed from 1:30 to  2 p.m. for lunch).

Wind Symphony & Faculty Showcase


Thursday, February 19, 2026 @ 7:30 p.m. in the Dvorak Concert Hall
$15 General Admission | $10 EIU Students/Youth (17 and under)
EIU's Wind Symphony will have their first concert of the semester, featuring Prof. Jamie V. Ryan on Marimba. This concert will include works by: Gounod, Salfelder, Gabrieli, Ticheli, and Huang.

Eastern Symphony Orchestra

$15 General Admission | $10 Senior/EIU Employee | $5 EIU Student/Youth (17 and under)
Join the Eastern Symphony Orchestra for an evening celebrating music from the Romantic era. The program will have Copland Fanfare for the Common Man, Glazunov Saxophone Concerto (featuring the 2025-26 Concerto/Aria Competition Winner), Hanson Symphony No. 2 "The Romantic", and Elgar Cello Concerto (with Special Guest Soloist Alexander Hersh).

Choral Concert

$10 General Admission | $5 EIU Students
Come and enjoy the EIU Choral Ensembles in their program: Every Voice. This performance will include works  by Esmail, Trecek-King, Moore, Valverde, Stevie Wonder, and Bill Withers.
