Tickets Natasha Stojanovska Guest Piano RecitalOctober 24th @ 7:30pmRecital HallPianist and composer Natasha Stojanovska plays a recital of repertoire from her forthcoming album of music by American Women Composers and original works in honorable memory of her mentors, noted Venezuelan-American conductor Carmen-Helena Téllez and Dean Emeritus of Northwestern's Bienen School of Music Bernard Dobroski. Stojanovska is currently Adjunct Faculty and Collaborative Pianist at the University of New Mexico. As a performing and recording artist, she has recently been featured on the Princeton Festival's mixed media project Dreaming/Undreaming and Navona Records' Uncommon Voices, an album of Eastern European Women composers. Among other distinguished honors, Stojanovska was co-runner up in the University Division of the American Prize in Piano Performance. Grupo Bella is quickly becoming known for their excellent musicianship and diverse repertoire. With their use of traditional Mariachi instrumentation, they have their roots in the Mariachi genre, while also spanning the music of many different cultures, decades, and various Latin American and American styles. Part of the Latin American Heritage Month activities.
