Question, Persuade, Refer Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper On-Line Course Available

EIU is proud to offer free access to the Question, Persuade, and Refer Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper On-Line Course.  The course takes approximately 60 minutes and covers:

• How to Question, Persuade and Refer someone who may be suicidal
• How to get help for yourself or learn more about preventing suicide
• The common causes of suicidal behavior
• The warning signs of suicide
• How to get help for someone in crisis

Individuals and Departments are encouraged to consider accessing and/or promoting for professional development, personal development, and curriculum infusion opportunities/extra credit.  Funding for this program was made available through the Mental Health Early Action on Campus Funds.
