Summer 2023 Parking Permits and Enforcement

Summer permits are now available online at this link: https://eiuparking.t2hosted.com/Account/Portal 
The summer parking enforcement at EIU occurs Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon. Permits are required during the summer semester when classes are in session. 

During break periods (when classes are not in session,) there is open parking in regular staff lots, student lots and MLK Union metered spaces. Ticketing only occurs in spaces specifically marked 24 hour lots, 15 minute metered spaces, no parking zones, and designated handicap spaces. Break periods include spring break, fall break, Thanksgiving break, and all weeks that classes are not in session between semesters.
