Effective Monday, September 12th, US Bank will be reducing their hours of operation to Monday-Friday 11 AM - 5 PM. Below are some mitigation strategies being implemented to reduce their service gap. The change in operating hours will be for the remainder of the Fall 2022 semester.
-All incoming calls to the EIU bank branch while it is closed will automatically transfer to the Mattoon branch until EIU branch opens at 11 AM.
-To minimize impact on faculty/staff, branch will not close until 5:00 PM Mon-Fri (usually 4:30 PM during traditional hours).
-Signage will be placed outside the cage informing patrons of the hours of operation change. Signage updates to MLK Union services will also be updated and posted at Union's main entrances.
-Signage will also include information on how to open a new account over the phone/via their Mobile App., instead of the traditional in-person way.
-Signage about where the ATM is located inside the MLK Union Lower-Level East entrance.
