Ph.D. (University of Nebraska), specializations: Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Organizational Theory, and Gender & Communication Studies
Her research examines individual coworker responses when organizational exits occur, CEO and feedback seeking behavior, post-retirement employment, and HR and franchising issues. She wrote a book chapter on strategies for managers in managing workplace bullying.
She has taught graduate courses at EIU in Strategic Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior and Group Dynamics.
Dr. Wollan has been at EIU since 2005, and involved in educating MBA and PhD students since 2002. She has served as the Coordinator of Graduate Business Studies since 2012 and is the academic adviser to each MBA student.
