Ready to apply to the EIU MBA?

Start with the EIU Graduate School application through your MyEIU portal and select the MBA program as your intended graduate degree.

You’ll need:

  • A completed Graduate School application
  • A $30 non-refundable application fee, with waivers available for some applicants
  • Official transcripts sent directly from your school to EIU
  • Any additional MBA program materials submitted through MyEIU

If you earned your undergraduate degree from EIU, the Graduate School will request your transcript from the EIU Records Office. Official transcripts from other institutions must be sent directly from the school to EIU.

MBA Application Process

How to Apply to the EIU MBA Program

EIU admits domestic MBA students for the fall and spring semesters on a rolling basis. For U.S. applicants, admission can typically be completed up to three weeks before classes begin.

Recommended final dates:

  • Fall admission: August 1
  • Spring admission: December 15

Submit Your Materials in MyEIU

All MBA application materials should be submitted through your MyEIU account. Your application will not be reviewed until all required materials have been received.

Where to Send Application Documents

You do not need to send application materials directly to the MBA program. Upload all required documents in MyEIU.

If you have trouble uploading documents or want to submit additional materials for MBA admission or graduate assistantship consideration, email copies to both mba@eiu.edu and graduate@eiu.edu.
