Title IX

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and Eastern Illinois University policy prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex in educational programs and activities or in employment.

Incident Reporting Form

The Title IX Coordinator is the designated university official with primary responsibility for coordinating the university’s compliance with Title IX. This includes providing advice and guidance on policies, education and training; investigating complaints of sexual harassment and interpersonal violence in which the respondent is an employee, and helping to ensure the university responds appropriately, effectively, and equitably to Title IX issues.  

The Deputy Title IX Coordinator investigates and monitors complaints involving student respondents of sexual harassment including sexual misconduct; domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. The Deputy Title IX Coordinator assists with ensuring the university's compliance with Title IX.
