Get Involved on Campus!
Living in University Housing gives you many opportunities to get involved and be a leader on campus! Most importantly, it is a great way to have fun and established life long friendships while carrying a number of responsibilities in the residence halls. From Student Government to Residence Hall Association, we have opportunities for everyone. Check out these organizations below to find the best fit for you!
Hall Council
Each resident is automatically considered a voting member of their hall council; allowing their voice to be heard on matters of hall policies, facilities improvements, staffing and hall programming. Being a member of a hall council brings with it certain privileges including peer recognition and providing content for your resume. Hall council meetings are held each week in your residence hall and all residents are urged to attend and participate.
Residence Hall Association
The Residence Hall Association is a group of students who meet each Thursday evening and to bring forth ideas and recommendations to University Housing & Dining Services to make life in the residence halls more enjoyable. Each residence hall and Greek Court is represented in R.H.A. by students selected or elected through their hall council or greek council who transmit the happenings of their community which he/she represents. Why join R.H.A.?

National Residence Hall Honorary
N.R.H.H. is an organization that works closely with the Residence Hall Association in making the residence halls a better place to live. As its name implies, N.R.H.H. recognizes those students who live in University Housing who go above and beyond the call of duty to benefit the entire University Housing community. The nominating and screening process for new members goes on during the month of March, culminating in a joint banquet with R.H.A. during the month of April.
N.R.H.H. does many fund-raising projects throughout the school year in order to contribute to the Richard G. Enochs Scholarship. This award is given annually to an individual who has contributed considerably to enhance the quality of the living environment in the residence halls.
