- 6 to 7 p.m. – 3D Printing 101
Interested in getting started with 3D printing? This one-hour workshop will walk you through the basic process of taking a 3D model from a digital file to a printed 3D object. After this workshop, you will be able to reserve time with the CSI's 3D printers to print items for educational or personal use (with assistance from CSI staff). No previous experience required. Panthers in Colorado join us for a very special EIU Night Out in Denver featuring an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies. Experience one of Major League Baseball's premier ballparks from a whole new perspective as we explore areas typically reserved for players, staff, and VIP guests. The guided tour lasts approximately 70–80 minutes and includes about 1.5 miles of walking, both indoors and outdoors. The Little Bluestem Literary Festival (formerly known as Lions in Winter) is EIU’s annual literary festival. This year’s events include a student showcase masterclasses by the visiting writers, book signings, a roundtable, readings, and more. Our featured prose writer is Athena Dixon, author of The Loneliness Files. Our featured poet is Ae Hee Lee, author of several poetry collections, including Asterism. Location: Doudna Fine Arts Center.
