EIU Extends Condolences to Family, Friends of Alumnus and Former Chair of EIU's Board of Trustees Roger Kratochvil

Eastern Illinois University mourns the passing of Roger L. Kratochvil, a proud alumnus, former chairman of the EIU Board of Trustees and lifelong advocate for education. A 1960 graduate, retired educator and coach, Kratochvil devoted decades of service to his alma mater, helping guide the University through years of growth while championing opportunities for generations of Panthers. Eastern extends its deepest condolences to his family, friends and all whose lives were enriched by his leadership, generosity and unwavering commitment to EIU. His legacy will continue to be felt across the University community for years to come.
