(Charleston, IL) – Eastern Illinois University’s Edgar Speaker Series will hold a free lecture by Rich Miller at 7 p.m. Monday, November 4 in the Buzzard Hall Auditorium. Miller is the founder, publisher and editor of the well-known Illinois politics blog Capitol Fax. His lecture, titled “Inside Illinois Government and Politics,” will offer his audience insightful information about how government operates in Illinois.

Miller’s Capitol Fax blog is considered a daily must-read according to Springfield insiders and observers. Miller is also known as one of the most knowledgeable and insightful reporters on government and political affairs in Illinois. His lecture at EIU is sure to give attendees more understanding and awareness about how the Illinois government runs, which can be helpful for both out-of-state and in-state students, visitors and faculty members at EIU and throughout the Coles County communities.
