Prospective Students Invited to Tour Campus, More During Nov. 11 Open House

Eastern Illinois University invites all prospective students to get a first-hand look at the campus and its offerings during a free open house on Friday, Nov. 11.
The open house, sponsored by the Office of Admissions, will provide prospective students and their families the opportunity to meet with faculty and student service personnel; hear from financial aid officers, housing staff and current EIU students; tour the campus, including residence halls and Greek Court; and enjoy a complimentary lunch in one of the dining centers.
Check-in begins at 7:45 a.m. in the Doudna Fine Arts Center Concourse, where participants may enjoy a continental breakfast while mingling with current students and admissions staff. A welcome ceremony will commence at 9 a.m., followed by an Academic/Student Services Fair, beginning at 9:30, as well as opportunities to meet with faculty, staff and advisers from a variety of departments throughout the day. Campus tours, a complimentary lunch and more will be offered between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Parking is available in any student or staff lot.
