** Illinois Innovation Network Grant Opportunity (due by June 30, 2020)**
ORSP and the Graduate School are pleased to share a new grant opportunity through the Illinois Innovation Network (IIN). Eastern Illinois University is part of the IIN and one of the 15 hubs located across Illinois, which consists primarily of Illinois’ public universities. Grant proposals must focus on the general theme of “Sustaining Illinois,” which could be broadly shaped around proposals that address Education and Workforce Development; Economic Development; Health and Wellness; Water, Food and Agriculture; and Computing and Data.
Full details of the proposal requirements and additional discussion of the themes of interest can be found here. Please note that all proposals must have another Hub as a partner as part of the proposal, which could most easily be defined as faculty researcher at another Hub. Eastern Illinois University can provide up to four matching grants of $2,000 per proposal.
More information about the other Illinois Innovation Network (IIN) hubs can be found here: https://vpedi.uillinois.edu/illinois-innovation-network.
All submissions should be sent to Mary Mattingly in the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs at firstname.lastname@example.org by noon, on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020.
Submissions will be ranked by members of the Council on Faculty Research, with recommendations sent to the Dean of the Graduate School.
