Purpose
EIU - Student Reading Council is a student organization for teacher candidates, developed by future teachers for future teachers at Eastern Illinois University. Our number one goal is to encourage you to become an active member in one or more of the professional organizations that exist for teachers in the workplace today. At each meeting we provide you with a variety of literacy strategies to implement during practicum, student teaching, and your teaching!
