Jessica Tindira is a first-generation college graduate from Cleveland, Ohio. After college, she spent a year teaching English to French elementary school students in Strasbourg, France. She has a Master of Arts in Teaching and is always looking for opportunities to experiment with pedagogy and language immersion. Dr. Tindira also holds a PhD in French from Indiana University in Bloomington. Her favorite areas of francophone culture include women’s writing and autofiction. She has published works on these subjects in The French Review and in a collective monograph entitled Le surnaturel en littérature et au cinéma. Outside of work, Dr. Tindira enjoys crafts, exercise (especially Zumba and yoga) and theater.
