Benefits Choice 

Your annual opportunity to select the best benefits for you and your family is during the Benefits Choice Period beginning May 1st through May 31st. All changes made during this time will go into effect July 1st. 

What is Changing?

Medical Care Assistance Plan (MCAP)

The MCAP maximum contribution amount will be $2,700 for the FY20 plan year with a $500 maximum rollover. Employees must re-enroll in MCAP for the new plan year in order to qualify for the rollover. 

What is Not Changing?

There will be no changes to your health plan options this Benefits Choice Period. If you wish to keep your coverage, no action is needed unless you intend to enroll or re-enroll in a Flexible Spending Account. If you wish to change your plan, carrier, or re-enroll in a Flexible Spending Account, go online at 


Your Benefit Choice Period is May 1 - May 31, 2019, and therefore it is imperative that you pre-register as quickly as possible. 

Be prepared to make your elections by pre-registering on the MyBenefits website.  Familiarize yourself with the tools and resources at your fingertips to make your Benefit Choice elections online.  If you’re not sure how to register or how to navigate the website, be sure to check-out the videos which will walk you through both the registration process and how to navigate the site.

Once you’re there, you can update your contact information and check-out the upcoming plan options available to you this Benefit Choice Period. 

Once the Benefit Choice period is here, beginning May 1 and throughout the month of May, go to MyBenefi​ to review your benefit options, compare health plans and make your elections. It's your one-stop shop for Benefit Choice. On MyBenefits you can:​

    • Change health plans
    • Add or drop dental coverage
    • Add or drop dependent coverage
    • Add, drop, increase, or decrease Member Optional Life insurance coverage;
      or add or drop Child Life, Spouse Life, and/or AD&D insurance coverage
    • Enroll in MCAP and/or DCAP flexible spending accounts
    • Update your personal information

PLEASE NOTE: Employees must enroll in MCAP and/or DCAP each year. 
Previous enrollment in the program does not continue into the new plan year.
