The Civil Service Council's purpose is to provide advisory counsel to the administration and the Employee Advisory Committee representative of the University Civil Service Merit Board regarding the general interest and welfare of non-negotiated civil service employees. We also review and make recommendations to the University regarding personnel matters involving Non-Negotiated Civil Service Employees.

Larry Shobe Memorial GardenPlease join the Civil Service Council, in partnership with the EIU Grounds Department, Central Illinois Master Gardeners, and the EIU Staff Senate, as we create the Larry Shobe Memorial Garden. Located between Old Main and Blair Hall, this new garden will offer a welcoming, peaceful space for students, visitors, and the campus community to gather and enjoy. |
