Hello and Welcome ! 

My name is Toqeer Israr and I am an Assistant Professor at School of Technology at Eastern Illinois University.   Though my area of expertise is Software Engineering, I am a self proclaimed jack-of-all-trades :) ! 

My office is at 4513 Lumpkin Hall, 600 Lincoln Avenue, Charleston, Illinois 61920.

Summary: ·      Modeled the behaviour of a composite distributed system with several inputs and outputs
  ·      Analyzed a distributed system to calculate the performance of a global collaboration in terms of the performance of its sub-collaborations
  ·      Developed a methodology to realize dependencies and measure delays between inputs and outputs of black-box systems
  ·      Presented research papers and demonstrated a prototype in various Conferences and to Faculty members

Summary: ·      As part of a larger performance analysis project, I investigated and implemented various methods of transformations of UML 2.0 Models with Performance Annotation to Core Scenario Models utilizing the powerful features of IBM’s Eclipse v 3.0 and IBM Rational Software Development Platform
  ·      Presented various research and demonstrated a prototype to various Faculty members as well as Industrial partners

Software Engineering
– Modeling and analyzing systems with various Software paradigms such as UML, UCM, etc.;
– Modeling and analyzing the behaviour of a composite distributed system with several inputs and outputs;
– Analyzing the distributed systems to calculate the performance of a global collaboration in terms of the performance of its sub-collaborations;
– Developing a methodology to realize dependencies and measure delays between inputs and outputs of black-box systems;
– Analyzing Web Services for the use of traditional/deep web-crawlers;
– Developing methodologies for web crawling for Rich Internet Applications

     o   Distributing news bulletin to concerned parties (including parents, administration etc)
     o   Coordinating and assisting in various activities in CIMIC Sunday school
· Assisted in organizing various recreational activities organized by Canada Pakistan Association
· Assisted in organizing various activities organized by Muslim Student Association
