Distinguished Out of State Student Rate for International Undergraduate Students
Starting Fall 2010, EIU
recognizes academically outstanding new undergraduates with a special tuition
rate. Out of state new first time undergraduates earning a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade
point average (on a 4.0=A scale converted according to WES (World Education Services) standards), will receive a rate of tuition which
is 1.0 times the current in state tuition rate. Admitted students
meeting the criteria will see the reduced rate reflected on their
student account. There is no additional documentation required. Email the Office of International Students and Scholars if you have any questions.
