We are no longer sending paper statements. Beginning with the May 2010 statement, all current students will receive their statement electronically. We will send an e-mail notification to their EIU e-mail address when the new statement is ready to view.
For security purposes, we do not send the statement as an e-mail attachment. When you receive your e-mail, sign on to PAWS and select student, then student account, then statement and payment history. You will see your new statement, which looks just like your current paper bill.
Please be sure to note the due date on the statement. To avoid a finance charge, payment is due on this date. It is up to the student to send the statement to whoever needs to receive it. Watch for additional information in the coming months.
Fall 2010 E-Billing Information
The first statement for the Fall 2010 semester will be generated the evening of Aug. 2, 2010. You will receive an e-mail in your EIU e-mail account indicating the statement has been generated and can be viewed in PAWS. Sign on to PAWS, click on "Student", then "Student Account", then "Statement and Payment History."
