Art Department Scholarships
Several scholarships are available to art majors:
- Talented Student Award (TSA)
- Grant-in-Aid Award (GIA)
- Excellence in the Fine Arts Fund
AY2012-2013 Talented Student Awards/Grant-in-Aid/Fund for Excellence Scholarship Application Information
Application, general information and digital portfolio requirements for 2012-2013 Talented Student Awards (TSA), Grant-in-Aid (GIA) and Fund for Excellence Scholarships are now available. Entering freshmen, transfer students and continuing declared art majors are eligible to apply for the Talented Student Award (TSA) and Grant-in-Aid Award (GIA); entering freshmen declared art majors are eligible to apply for Excellence in the Fine Arts Fund scholarship. Students must be enrolled full-time to receive any of the scholarships. Deadline for scholarship applications and digital portfolios is Thursday, March 22, 2012.
The digital portfolio must be on a compact disc (CD) consisting of digital photographs/images of applicant's artwork for students in the studio, graphic design or art education options or art history research papers in Word format for students in the art history option.

Fall 2012 Grant-in-Aid Application Information
The Fall 2012 Grant-in-aid (GIA) guidelines and application form will be available in late August/early September 2012. The GIA is a monetary award based on a project proposal that is given to encourage creative development and address professional activities during the academic year. Please note there are separate guidelines for graduate and undergraduate students, but graduate and undergraduate students will fill out the same interactive PDF application and faculty endorsement form.
