Student Commencement Speaker 2016
Hannah Osborne, candidate for a bachelor’s degree in English with minor in Professional Writing, is the College of Arts and Humanities’ Undergraduate Student Commencement Speaker. Hannah is a native of Mattoon, Illinois, and a graduate of Mattoon Senior High School. After graduating from EIU, she plans to pursue a career as a copywriter or editor. Dr. Terri Fredrick, Professor of English, served as her essay mentor. The title of her commencement essay is “Pinholes, Hometowns, and Finding Your Purpose.”
