Becoming a part of a fraternity or sorority is a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Joining fraternal organizations means finding your ‘home away from home’ and forming lifelong friendships. Fraternity/Sorority Life is the best way to immerse yourself into an abundance of leadership, campus, and community service/philanthropic opportunities.
The first step to becoming a member of a fraternity or sorority is to participate in the recruitment or intake process. Through these processes, you will discover the benefits of fraternity/sorority life, make new friends, and become acquainted with the EIU community. You may consider contacting the respective council's or chapter(s)’ Vice President of Recruitment for further inquiries regarding membership expectations.
