Celebrating its 10th year of existence, the Dramatic Literature-Theatre History undergraduate Research Symposium has witnessed excellent submissions from all corners of Eastern Illinois University.  Participants are juried by a panel of distinguished Eastern faculty from the Departments of English and Theatre.

The Symposium is a conference-style event in which the participants present their papers and field challenging questions from an interdisciplinary audience.

Presenting students in past Symposia have gone on to achieve distinction in their fields, and many have cited events such as this as being critical to their preparation for graduate school and beyond.  The event receives generous support from the EIU College of Arts and Humanities.
