DECLARING A MAJOR OR MINOR

• Undergraduates who are advised in the Academic Advising Center must speak to their advisor about changes to a major or minor.
• If an undergraduate student is presently advised through a department and wants to make changes to their major or minor, or declare a second major or degree, they are encouraged to use this online form.
  • Once the form has been submitted, the student will be contacted by the appropriate Certification Officer.
  • Any questions should be directed to the Certification Officer of their major:

• Please note, that If you are currently enrolled in the IDS degree program, and want to switch majors, you must send an email to the BA in Interdisciplinary Studies Degree Program, ids@eiu.edu, stating that you are withdrawing from the program.
