Last semester, the committee on Online Learning at EIU sought input from the campus community regarding questions about online learning. Our committee has gathered information from the literature on online learning, collected data about peer institutions, and conducted analyses of data from our own institution. We invite you to read a draft of our findings and the recommendations that emerged from our discussions of these findings (see p. 38), linked from our committee web page: http://castle.eiu.edu/psych/online/index.php
We invite comments and questions from individuals, departments, colleges, and faculty governance committees. Please submit your comments to the chair of the Online Learning Committee: Jeff Stowell (jrstowell@eiu.edu) by Thursday March 22, 2012.
