Hello,
My name is Samantha Cantu and I am an undergraduate Elementary Education Major. I am currently working on a research project with Dr. Pearson, Kelsey Klank, and Lauren Gallick, concerning if and how deep approaches to learning enhance integrative learning. Our findings will be submitted to The National Conference for Undergraduate Research. You have been asked to participate because you represent the general population of students at Eastern Illinois University. If you volunteer to participate in this study, you are encouraged to read each question carefully and answer to the best of your knowledge. Individual responses obtained in connection with this study will remain confidential and you will receive an ID or pseudonym to ensure confidentiality in our study. The survey will take on average 10-15 minutes.
Participation in this research study is entirely voluntary and not a requirement or a condition for being the recipient of benefits or services from Eastern Illinois University or any other organization sponsoring the research project. If you decide to participate in this study, you may withdraw at any time without consequences of any kind or loss of benefits or services to which you are otherwise entitled. The extent of your involvement in this research includes the completion of this survey. There are no perceived or anticipated risks or discomfort involved in participating in this study. In addition, there are no perceived or anticipated benefits, incentives or compensation that will be received by participating in this study.
