My name is Fred Washburn and I am conducting a brief study on your feelings towards John (a fictitious person). I invite you to please take about 15 minutes and complete the survey. Some of you may be asked to take this survey again in two weeks. There is minimal risk to you in taking the survey. Possible risks include emotional discomfort when answering questions regarding your attitudes towards John. There are no direct benefits to you as a participant.
