Subject: UPDATED - Core Network Upgrades January 7th
On Wednesday, January 7th, several on-campus buildings will experience brief network interruptions, typically lasting between 5 to 10 minutes. Most buildings will encounter only one short outage as they transition to the new network core. The affected buildings include Booth, Buzzard, Cencere, Coleman, Doudna, FPM, Gregg Technology Center, Health Service, Klehm, Lantz, Life Science, Lumpkin, Ninth Street, Stadium, Steam Plant, Tarble, and Textbook Rental. We anticipate the network to be fully functional if you are not in one of the impacted buildings. This maintenance was originally planned for January 5th, but due to hardware complications it was delayed until January 7th.
