Subject: Duo Push and Remember Me Features
EIU ITS continues to encourage the use of push notifications as opposed to phone calls within our Duo multi-factor authentication (MFA) system. Please only use the phone feature as a backup option. Duo Push gives the user an easier, faster, and more secure experience. Visit the Panthertech website to view a video explaining how Duo Push works:

If you would like to change the Duo method and begin using the Duo Push feature, follow the instructions below to add your device.
EIU ITS also suggests using the “remember me” option as shown below. This will reduce the number of times you are required to authenticate MFA in Duo over the 30-day period. When signing in with Duo MFA, you can select the "Remember me for 30 days" feature.
How to use the "Remember me for 30 days" feature:
Login into your service with your password.
Receive the Duo options.
Before you select "Call me", select the checkbox "Remember me for 30 days".
Select your Duo MFA choice.
