Subject: 2020 W2s Now Available in PAWS
Your 2020 W-2 wage statement is available on-line and just a few clicks away.
EIU employees can consent to receive their W-2 in PAWS. Your consent provides immediate access
to any prior year W-2 and access to your 2020 W-2. This is a one-time consent and will not be
necessary to repeat each year. You may revoke your consent at any time by contacting the Payroll Office.
If you choose to receive your W-2 wage statement electronically, a paper W-2 will not be printed and mailed.
Paper W-2’s will be mailed the last week in January to the last known address EIU has on file. If you have had an address
change during 2020, please contact the Human Resources Office to update your address.
If you have previously provided consent, there is nothing more to do. Your W-2 is available and ready for you to print.
To activate your W-2 consent please follow these directions:
• Log-in to PAWS: https://www.eiu.edu/pawslogin/
• Select the EMPLOYEE tab
• Select TAX FORMS
• Select W-2 WAGE AND TAX STATEMENT
• Select 2020, then click DISPLAY
• A pop-up message will appear indicating you will need to provide CONSENT. Click OK
• Under MY CHOICE, check the box that indicates you consent to receive your W-2 electronically
• Click SUBMIT
Your consent is now complete. Again, this consent will be active until a request to revoke is made or separation from the University occurs.
