Subject: New Temporary Flexible Work Schedule Policy
In response to child care concerns regarding the decision many K-12 schools have made to start the school year off in a remote environment, the University has approved a temporary Flexible Work Schedule policy to help employees navigate the dual responsibility of employee/caregiver during worktime hours. The full policy can be found here: https://www.eiu.edu/humanres/benefits/. This policy may not be appropriate for all employees and should not be considered a universal employee benefit.
