Subject: Internet Outage Tuesday March 17th
On Tuesday, March 17, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., EIU will be performing a firewall upgrade as the first step in providing the university a redundant internet connection. During this time period the entire campus will experience intermittent internet outages, which will impact highly utilized services including:
• Email
• D2L
• Off-campus access to eiu.edu, PAWS, Banner, and MyEIU. On-campus users may experience slower response times.
• Access to most services on the Booth Library Website
• On-campus access to any external website/cloud services.
