During the spring semester 2019, Booth Library will present an exhibit titled “On the Shoulder of Giants: The Moon and Beyond,” a commemoration of the moon landing 50 years ago next year, and a celebration of current and future space exploration. The exhibit will be on display at Booth from Jan. 17-May 4, 2019. The programming events will be scheduled from January 17-April 19, 2019.
Booth is currently planning a series of programming to accompany the exhibit. All EIU faculty are encouraged to participate, and all ideas are welcome (lectures, panels, performances, exhibits, poster sessions, demonstrations, film screenings, etc.). Please consider including your students in your activities, either related to research, student panels, etc. We are interested in considering space exploration from all angles, whether that be science, math, engineering, technology, literature, film, music, business, media or any other. All ideas are welcome.
