This is a final reminder that the Benefits Choice period will end Wednesday, May 31st. If you would like to make any changes to your insurance (health, dental or life), enroll or re-enroll in MCAP/DCAP, add or drop dependents, or enroll in EIU’s Sick Leave Bank, you must do so before close of business on May 31st.
This year, employees are being asked to make changes to their health, dental and life insurance and enroll in MCAP/DCAP through the MyBenefits web portal rolled out by Central Management Services' benefits administrator, Morneau Shepell. Every employee will need a log-in and password in order to access the system. If you need or would like to make any changes to your benefits options, please visit https://mybenefits.illinois.gov/account/login/choseclient for information on how to register and manage and/or change your plans. Whether you are making changes or not, access to this system will allow you to view your elections and give you access to other information related to your benefits. This is an exciting improvement that provides you the ability to be in control and informed.

If you are needing assistance to make any changes to your benefits plans, please contact the Benefits Office to arrange an appointment time to meet with a counselor, but you must do so quickly as appointment times are filling up. You may also call 581-5825 and leave a message. A Benefits Counselor will get back to you as quickly as time permits.
