Effective for the spring 2016 semester Eastern will begin offering a fixed installment payment plan as an additional payment option. Only tuition, mandatory fees and housing less any financial aid for the term of the plan can be put into this plan. Items such as prior term balances, dining dollars, parking permits, fines or Health Service charges may not be included. Sign-up for the plan is now available and will be in effect until 1/14/2016.
In order to create a plan, sign in to PAWS and click on make a payment. In the section titled Installment Payment Plans click on ‘Enroll in the Spring 2016 Installment Payment Plan’. There is a $40 non-refundable enrollment fee which must be paid when you enroll in the plan. The system will automatically determine the charges and credits eligible for the plan. If your eligible amount is $500 or less you cannot create a fixed installment plan. Please be sure to review the terms and conditions. Eastern reserves the right to cancel your plan if you owe a balance from a prior term.
The spring 2016 plan will have 4 equal installments with due dates of 1/15/16, 2/15/16, 3/15/16, and 4/15/16. This plan is managed by Higher One for Eastern Illinois University. Higher One will answer questions regarding set-up and payments – contact information is available in the payment system.
