EIU Community:
Thank you for your participation in meetings with site visitors from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association (NCA) of Colleges and Schools on Monday October 20 and Tuesday, October 21. The seven site visitors hosted 77 separate meetings and had opportunities to engage with more than 1000 students, faculty, staff, and members of the community!
Dr. Kathie Gilbert, Chair of the Site Visit Team, provided the following time table for concluding the review:
• The draft report will be forwarded to President Perry on December 1, 2014.
• Eastern will correct any errors of fact and return the report to the site visit team.
• The site visit team will forward the report to the Higher Learning Commission.
• The Higher Learning Commission will issue the final report to be shared with the campus and community between February and June, 2015.
