EIU Students, Faculty, and Staff:
During the month of October, the LGBTQA Resource Center, in conjunction with LGBTQA Advisory Committee and EIU Pride, will be hosting a variety of events in honor of LGBTQA History Month. Some featured events include: an LGBTQA History Fair, both phases of Safe Zone training, a National Coming Out Day "Gay? Fine By Me" t-shirt sale, Diva Drag Show, and an LGBTQA Resource Center Open House and Reception. To see the full list of events please visit the LGBTQA WebCenter @ castle.eiu.edu/lgbtqa/. Flyers listing the entire month's programming will also be posted around campus for those who are interested in participating in or attending these events.
The LGBTQA Resource Center and LGBTQA Advisory Committee are also proud, and excited, to announce that during LGBTQA History Month there will be a variety of new LGBTQA-related small groups starting up. These groups are open to all students, staff, faculty, and members of the Charleston community. The small groups available include: All About the 'G' Gay Men's Group, LGBTQ Allies, LesBiHonest, LGBTQA and Christian, Bloomsbury Reborn:
