Subject: Revolutionary Decade: Reflections on the 1960s

I invite you to Booth Library's fall exhibit and program series, "Revolutionary Decade: Reflections on the 1960s," an in-depth look at what is arguably one of the most turbulent and eventful decades of the 20th century. The series will kick off tonight with an opening program and reception at 7 p.m. in the library's West Reading Room. Dr. Edmund Wehrle, professor of history, will give the keynote address, "No Problem of Human Destiny is Beyond Human Beings": John F. Kennedy and the Spirit of the 1960s, beginning at 7:30 p.m. All are invited.

Many Eastern faculty members from throughout campus are participating in the "Revolutionary Decade" series, which continues until Nov. 20. We hope you are able to attend many of the informative and fascinating programs. A complete schedule and more information can be found in the program booklet, which is accessible here, http://www.library.eiu.edu/exhibits/1960s/.
