Below are the basic admission requirements for the Organizational Development program:
To apply for admission to the Organizational Development program, a student must:
- Have earned a minimum of 30 credit hours from an accredited institution;
- Have earned a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 or higher, or 2.50 or higher from the last institution;
Students that do not meet these admission requirements, but meet EIU’s general transfer admission requirements will have their application reviewed by the Organizational Development coordinator. Following this review, students may be required to participate in a pre-entry interview or submit a new application for consideration at a later time.

Prior Learning Assessment (PLA)
Many students returning to earn a college degree have significant amounts of workplace training and experience. We recognize that your knowledge and skills acquired in the workplace provide a foundation from which you will pursue your academic and occupational goals.
